Encouraging Society for Blood Donation

We, Tolas Foundation, are launching this campaign to encourage the public to donate blood. Despite an increase in donors, blood is still in short supply during crises, owing to a lack of knowledge and convenience.
It is generally acknowledged that family/replacement donors provide more than 45% of the blood collected in India. Such individuals are predicted to have a much higher risk of acquiring transfusion-transmissible illnesses (TTIs), including HIV, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, syphilis, and malaria.
Our foundation believes that by effectively connecting blood donors with blood recipients, we can overcome the majority of these barriers.

Who Is Eligible to Donate Blood?

Men and women of any age can give blood. Men can donate safely every three months, while women may do so every four months. The donor's health must be in excellent condition.

Our Goal & Objectives

Our foundation's principal goal and objective are:-

Goal
We work round the clock to wipe away blood scarcity and guarantee safe, high-quality blood and other blood components all year long. Furthermore, we will strive to help people in need all across the nation, even those who live in remote areas.

Objectives

  • Our primary goal is to provide free, high-quality blood and blood components from donors around the clock to those in need.
  • We ensure safe and sanitary conditions at all stages of blood donation. Our foundation also maintains a permanent, well-indexed record of voluntary blood donors to encourage and sustain their ongoing selfless generosity.
  • We are educating the public about the advantages of blood donation and the risks associated with paid collections that may be shady.
  • We are working consistently to encourage more people to give blood by making it more convenient. We hope to see a surge in the number of voluntary blood donors to eliminate the need for paid donors.
  • We aim to raise awareness and educate the general public about AIDS continually.
  • To assist with varieties of groups, clubs, colleges, public and private institutions, and the general public in conducting voluntary blood donation drives and arranging motivational talks to promote greater volunteer non-remunerated blood donations with each passing year.
