To Get Society De-Addict by Running De-Addiction Campaigns

The term "addiction" refers to an uncontrollable urge to use drugs or medications. It's a brain and behavioural illness that drives someone to want to take narcotics or medications uncontrollably. Drugs are any substance that has the potential to harm our senses, thoughts, emotions, or behaviour. You might continue using a hazardous medication despite its negative consequences if you're reliant on it.

Our Attempts

Tele-counselling on drugs-related issues

  • Tele-counselling is not only more convenient but also easier to arrange since it is potentially free of constraints that limit traditional therapy, such as distance, time, duration, and expense. This sort of therapy is more accessible for many people who would be unable to attend standard psychotherapy in other situations.
  • Callers reporting concerns about their mental health to a remote therapist may feel less hesitant and more comfortable than those who do so in person with a traditional therapist, as this method provides some anonymity.
  • The results of therapy are also better in patients who receive therapy through the telephone.

Sensitization Workshops for School Children on drug abuse

  • The rate of drug abuse among youngsters and teenagers is greater than that of the general population. This is particularly true since adolescence is a time for experimenting with and developing one's identity.
  • When it comes to drug abuse, youth are frequently part of specific subcultures and lifestyles. According to another research, 13.1% of people affected by drug and substance abuse in India are under the age of 20.
  • Keeping this in mind, we have taken the initiative by conducting workshops in different schools in different states.

Rehabilitation Facility
We also provide rehabilitation facilities to those who want to change their habits and, thereby, life. Our rehabilitation facilities include:

  • Multidisciplinary treatment with medical, psychological, and spiritual counselling.
  • Counselling on a group or one-on-one basis by expert professionals.
  • Group therapy and individual counselling.
  • Holistic healing by alternative medicine therapies like Yoga, Pranayam, etc.
  • Meditation techniques for mind control, relaxation and positive energy flow in the body which is essential to change habits.
  • The program also includes: taking care of physical health (following a strict diet plan) and giving up bad habits like drugs, alcohol, etc.
  • Counselling on occupational therapy to help people find employment and give them life back.
  • Prevention of drug addiction in the next generation by establishing awareness programs for children.
